The Placenta

I was looking through some birth images this evening and realized I’ve never shared a placenta image. I make it a point at every birth to get at least one amazing placenta shot but was hesitant to share because, well, placentas can be a lot to take in. Even so, here are some placenta images I’ve had the pleasure of photographing along with a few interesting facts about this remarkable organ.
